  Hearing Aid Prices

 Hearing aid prices are very varied, depending on the style of aid, the make and the degree of technological complexity. The following examples are not the full range of the aids available. When considering the price it is important to remember that you are buying the long-term service commitment that goes with it.  

NHS Style such as Starkey Cierra (or similar), digital multi-channel aid with telecoil. These aids are broadly equivalent to the NHS digital aids. £850 each (£1310 pair).  

 

 

Oticon Vigo Pro Behind the Ear, popular digital multichannel aid. £1250 each (£2010 pair)  

 

Phonak Supero 413 Behind the Ear, very high power digital aid, multichannel with telecoil

£1260 each (£2010 pair)

 

Oticon Dual Behind the Ear Range, advanced multichannel digital aid for mild to moderate losses, uses an open fitting to avoid feeling 'blocked up'. Prices from £1260 (£1890 pair) for the Dual M5. 

 

Phonak Extra CIC, completely in the canal multichannel digital hearing aid, noise reduction facilities and very discrete. £1750 each (£2810 pair)

 

Phonak Certéna Behind the Ear, digital multi-channel with telecoil, advanced noise reduction facilities, automatic program selection, directional microphones and optional remote control.

New patients are charged an initial consultation fee of £80, all follow-up visits are free of charge during the warranty period of the aid system (usually 2 years)

The prices for new aids include vat, earmoulds and a good supply of batteries, there are no hidden extras.  In the ear aids are typically £200 more than the equivalent behind the ear aid.

Replacement ear moulds for behind the ear aids are £35 to £65 each.
