Practical Courses for Trainees & Dispensing Assistants

Practical Training Courses:

We run a series of practical class-room courses concentrating on the skills needed by trainees, including Otoscopy, Impression Taking, Tympanometry, a-c Testing, b-c Testing and Masking.

The Health Professions Council permits Hearing Aid Dispensers to delegate some tasks to trainees, students and assistants. These tasks include those listed above.

The Dispenser is responsible for any work undertaken by trainee, and it is essential that trainees receive appropriate training.......and that's where we can help.

These 1-day courses are also particularly useful for Foundation Degree students looking to brush-up on their practical skills.

Course titles include:

• Basic a-c Audiometry

• Practical Masking (27th March)

• Tympanometry

• Otoscopy & Impression Taking (26th Jan)
