What to expect

1. Case History

After arriving at our bespoke testing room, we will begin with a thorough case study to gain insight into specific health information relating to hearing loss causes and whether any medical referral issues which may be corrected by medical intervention are evident.
2. Ear Examination

Following the case history we will examine your inner ears with a video otoscope, which you are able to see on a screen. If referral to an ENT Consultant is necessary, we can organise any necessary information to be communicated.
3. The Test

Next comes the test. You will be played a series of tones through headphones and asked to respond when you hear one by pressing a button. The results of the test will allow us to identify your hearing loss and thresholds and the areas of your life expected to be affected the most.
4. Your Results

Following the test and results analysis we will discuss personalised treatment options for your hearing loss (if any), such as hearing aids. A detailed, written report of your results will be generated and sent to yourself or the appropriate medical professional.
